Title: The great Escape
Dimensions: 16 × 26 × 8 in
You can never enjoy the sweet unless you have tasted sour.
This small cub tells this story all too well. Try and imagine her delight when she came across a beehive and what lies inside. Knowing that the buzzing is more of a warning instead of a welcoming sound, she still cannot help herself. She begins to walk forward knowing that her sweet reward is only a few more steps. The buzzing of busy working bees almost becomes deafening and for sure her heart is pounding.
In an instant, she moves quickly knowing that sweet treat will surely bring the wrath of the hive on her in seconds. With a swipe, she reveals the sticky amber of honey. With the bees beginning their attack she sticks her mouth in to grab the biggest piece and begins to escape.
Adrenaline coursing through her veins she smiles as the bee’s stings are less and less. Was it worth it? You bet! Sometimes we need to push forward even if we can experience pain to get the sweet, sweet rewards of life.
